Tom graduated from Spring Hill College in 1999, with a degree in Psychology. He has been involved with Metro Home Care most of his life and became President in 2013. Tom strives to provide the same quality of care that his parents, Jack and Kate Lane, have given since they founded the agency in 1976. He is very proud of our staff and enjoys working closely with everyone.
Whitney Lane
Director of Consumer Directed Services
Whitney Lane, M.B.A. joined Metro Home Care, her husband’s family business, in 2011. In her role as the Director of Consumer Directed Services, Whitney strives to ensure excellent services for clients as well as a reliable, compassionate, and rewarding place for employees to work. Previously, she spent 8 years working in marketing and sales for a medical publishing company. She graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 2001 with a BS/BA in International Business, and then later received her M.B.A. from Webster University in 2009.
Ivy Rice
Director of Nursing
Ivy is the Director of Nursing at Metro Home Care. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with her BSN in Nursing Administration and comes to us from the Division of Health and Senior Services bringing her experience as a home health nurse, trainer and supervisor. Her background experience includes SICU, cardiology and Long Term Care. She has a love for people and has been serving the company providing nursing care and oversight for the elderly and disabled population. Ivy has been with Metro Home Care for over 20 years. She is also a minister and has a certificate of Pastoral Care from Washington University’s Chaplaincy program.
Sara Hirschmugl
Medicaid Specialist
Sara came to Metro Home Care in 2008 with a background in Medical Billing/Coding and Collections. She has a strong belief in fighting for benefits for those who need them. She is the proud mother to a Special Needs Boy.
Katrina S. Rhodeman
Director of Telephony
Katrina is the Director of Telephony at Metro Home Care. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis with majors in Business Management, Human Resources, and Psychology. Prior to coming to Metro Home Care, she worked as the Director of Finance at West Side MB Church for eight years and as an educator at A Mother’s Touch Child Development Center for eight years. Katrina is also a homeschooling mother.
Tanya Coleman
Patient Care Coordinator
Comes to us with 15 years of experience of direct patient care with Metro Home Care Services. She brings a wealth of experience as Assistant Manager, Safety Coordinator and Recruiter for Proctor and Gamble.
Rebecca Valicoff
RN Office Nurse
Rebecca is a registered nurse who graduated from Deaconess School of Nursing in 1974. She has experience working in ophthalmic surgical nursing, home health and long-term home care. She has worked for the Department of Health and Senior Services and brings a wealth of experience to Metro Home Care.
